Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress famous for her character Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk was blessed with an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during shooting the final season of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous social media following, including Facebook and Twitter because of its success.
